Every 10 years the United States of America conducts the US Census Count. The goal of the Census is to secure an accurate headcount of every person living in every community, regardless of age or immigration status. Having an accurate count of our populations profoundly impacts the amount of federal funding that is allotted to each community for important programs that benefit the most vulnerable in our community. Did you know that Census data impacts funding for things like medical facilities, community mental health services, and programs for people with disabilities? Let’s count together to make a difference for all Californians, including those who served in the armed forces. Take the Census. To learn more, visit CaliforniaCensus.org.
