Peer Navigation Services

Central to SFSC's service delivery model are Peer Navigators, who are veterans or family members of veterans (i.e., spouses, adult children) with lived military experience. With an inherent understanding of military culture as a basis for mutual respect, Peer Navigators function as trusted case workers responsible for advocacy, outreach, primary client communication, education, and linkages that support veterans in their successful transitioning to the civilian community as well as healthy functioning in their families. Through personal knowledge of veteran/military family dynamics and their wide familiarity with community resources, Peer Navigators are well-positioned to maximize rehabilitation and recovery of these families.
